Shopian district became the first district in Entire India, Where COVID-19 Positivity rate is Zero.
The health department of Shopian district today celebrate the vaccination success at PHC Tukroo, where BMO, Doctors and health workers has been appreciated and were Facilitated as per their role in Achieving the target of 100 percent Vaccination.
Chief medical officer Dr Abdul Rashid Tak on the occasion said, that the dedication of each health worker in general and dedication of ground health workers is the result of such achievement.
Further he said that Shopian district of South Kashmir became the first district of Kashmir where 100 percent vaccination has been done for people above 45 years of age.
All this was possible due to the hard work of the employees of the District administration and Health Department, said CMO while congratulating BMOs, Medical Superintendent, and health care workers for the achievement.
